RAIYOLI DINOSAUR FOSSIL EXCAVATION SITE
A prehistoric 65 million years old Dinosaur excavation site considered to be one of the third largest sites in the world, this place is a unique experience. Fossilized bones and eggs were found here. This place was a hatchery as well as a graveyard - a one of its kind site. Raiyoli is being developed as a Jurassic Park having an interpretation center.

WANAKBORI DAM
A peaceful spot near the dam on the river Mahisagar, known for its serene surroundings and scenic beauty.

TIMBA-TUVA AND LASUNDRA
Hot water sulphuric springs believed to have a miraculous cure for arthritis and rheumatism. Ancient folklore associates the temple near Timba-Tuva with Pandav – Bhim from the Indian epic Mahabharata.

GALTESHWAR
A picnic spot near the confluence of two rivers having an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

CHAMPANER
World Heritage Site (Day Excursion)
Champaner on the foothills of Pavagadh was an out-of-the-way pilgrimage site for hundreds of years, became the capital of Gujarat, and was then abandoned to be overtaken by the jungle only to be rediscovered. The city is remarkably well-preserved, with Hindu and Jain temples a thousand years old, mosques from the time of the Gujarat Sultanate, and the whole workings of a well-planned capital city still in evidence, from granaries and fortifications to step wells and cemeteries. Champaner is a place where not only can you find an old palace, fort, several mosques, but also walk the ancient streets just as its inhabitants did five centuries ago. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.

RATAN MAHAL SLOTH BEAR SANCTUARY
(Day Excursion)
Spread out over 56 sq km, Ratanmahal-on the Gujarat-Madhya Pradesh border-is the only exclusive sloth bear sanctuary in Gujarat. And sloth bears are just part of the attraction: nature fulfills herself in many other ways; the River Panam criss-crosses beautiful small hamlets on the foothills of this sanctuary covered with lush green and thick woods full of natural goodness. Some of the animals found are sloth bears, panthers, large-size monkeys, jackals, antelopes and hyenas, besides other numerous jungle cats, foxes, honey badgers, hare, porcupines and reptiles. Over 120 different varieties of birds can also be spotted.
