The Black Buck Lodge at Velavadar National Park is a Luxury Wildlife Lodge. It is owned by Bhal Hotels & Managed by Camps of India. It is today the only luxury quality accommodation available at the Velavadar National Park. The hotel is located in the midst of the savannah type grasslands. This eco-friendly lodge has 14 exquisitely designed luxury cottages. The Black Buck Lodge offers Safaris to the Velavadar National Park in customised 4x4 Safari Vehicles.

The Velavadar National Park is the only tropical grassland in India to be given the status of a National Park. It is a 36 sq km patch of Savannah type grasslands located in the Bhal Region of Saurashtra, Gujarat. The park is set between 2 rivers and is only a few miles from the Gulf of Cambay sea coast. The principal attraction of the park is the massive population of the Black Buck, the handsome Indian antelope, seen here in thousands. The Harrier Roost at Velavadar is one of the largest in the world. Another rare sight is that of the lesser Florican which arrive during the monsoons to breed in the grassland.
