TEMPLES
Brahma Mandir :
The biggest attraction is the temple of lord Brahma- Lord of creation. This is the only existing temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, who according to myth was cursed by his wife Savitri, when in her absence; he invited Gayatri, a tribal girl, to take her place in an important ritual.

Savitri Mandir :
On top of hill by the sacred lake of Pushkar is the temple of Savitri. Across the lake on another hill is Gayatri Temple, both Lord Brahma's wives.

Nasiyan Temple :
Nasiyan Temple in the heart of the Old Ajmer city is the Savran Nagari Hall, vividly decorated with colour glass mosaics and large gilded wooden figures, recreating scenes of Jain mythology.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Pushkar Lake :
It is semicircular lake around which there are 52 "Ghats". The max depth of the lake is 10 mts. The lake is a holy place and is known as the king of the "Trithas". The bath at Pushkar is thought to be more important than at any other place. The holy dip in this lake on Kartika Purnima is thought to be salvation giving.

Adhai- din Ka- Jhonpra :
This strange name is said to derive from the duration of a religious fair that used to be held here. Though in ruins, the early 13th centaury mosque complex, built in the hill side is most impressive. Its main glory is its exquisite seven-arched screen front of the colonnaded hall. Each arch is different, and the numerous columns have elaborate carvings.
